I've never heard of anyone being overweight and anorexic, but you can be bulimic and overweight. It's just a stupid thing to do though. Your metabolism will slow down and all the food that you may and will have to eat eventually will just be stored as fat.

are brave knowing we could easily be defeated but still continue forward.

Just because someone is overweight does not mean they do not have the mindset, or the tendencies of an anorexic. You don't have to be underweight to be anorexic - if you think about, generally people start out at a normal weight before they get underweight by being anorexic. Overweight people are just as prone.

Anyway, I agree with Anonymous Chris. I tried skipping meals and starving myself for a while, and while it worked, it was not a long term solution. I am much happier nowadays that I am recovering and eating smaller, more frequent, healthy meals, and doing some exercise. I feel better, and my body looks essentially the same, or even a little better. I know how hard it is to convince yourself that skipping and starving is not the option, but if you can attempt to stop this cycle before it really starts, trust me, you will be better off.

If you want to talk at all, feel free to PM me. Take care!

you'll lose faster if you eat healthy and exercise. and you wont gain it back.

Wrong, and wrong.

When I stopped eating I lost weight really quickly. It all just kinda melted off... but not in the right spots.

My arms, for example became freakishly thin. I never really worked out so my arms kind of atrophied at the loss of food. My cheeks got sunken in, and my ribs stuck out.

Nowadays I'm probably the same weight, but there's more muscle, less fat.

You won't necessarily "gain it all back once you start eating again". It's healthy eating habits that result in healthy weight loss, and gain.

It's only if you starve yourself for a day, then pig out on french fries and a burger that you're going to be gaining unhealthy weight.

I didn't eat hardly anything for about an entire semester... once I started eating again, I made sure to start slow, eating a little more each time. Only healthy things too... once I started to fill back out, it was the right weight. Muscle.
